Financial Controller
up to £75,000

The Company
Our client, a well established futures broker based in the city are looking for a Financial Controller to join their organisation. They have enjoyed sold growth in the last 12 months and employ over 500 people.
The Role
As the Financial Controller will be responsible for the following:
•Oversee Financial Accounting, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
•Oversee the preparation and maintenance of process documentation, including implementation of processes and procedures in compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act.
•Supervise monthly financial close processes including account analysis and account reconciliations. The keeping of all financial records, accounts and schedules to the requirements of the auditors and general accepted accounting standards and practices.
•Deliver accurate management information including, statistical data, financial statement preparation and management reports, on a timely basis (daily, monthly, quarterly, and annually).
•Prepare annual UK statutory accounts and monthly accounts for SEC reporting purposes.
•Oversee and participate in the development and administration of the budget, cash flows and forecasts as required for the management of the affairs of the UK Group and to develop financial solutions rapidly to reflect changes in financial situations.
The Candidate
Ideally the successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CA / CIMA or equivalent) with ideally 6 years post qualification experience. Knowledge of UK and US GAAP is essential.
